Surface-mounted sliding system

Barn Doors

Wide openings, clean hardware, no floor track.

Barn doors hang on a surface-mounted track above the opening and slide to the side when open. They work for wide openings that would need large, heavy swinging doors, and they add a strong visual element to any room. Hardware is visible by design.

From $399— final pricing depends on dimensions, finish, and install path

Best for: Wide openings, narrow hallways, and statement rooms

Why this system works

  • No floor track — slides on top-mounted hardware

  • No rough-in modification needed in most cases
  • Easy panel replacement if style changes

Things to know first

  • Door slides to the side — wall space is required
  • Provides less sound isolation than hinged doors
  • Hardware and panel must be matched by weight
  • Not suited for privacy applications without a cane bolt

Rough measurements are enough to start

Start with the instant estimate for a rough range. When you're ready for a written quote, email photos and rough dimensions and we'll confirm the right system and exact sizing.

Common questions

How much wall space do I need beside a barn door?

You need at least the width of the door panel on the side it slides to. A 36" door needs 36" of clear wall space.

Do barn doors lock?

Not by default. A floor cane bolt or privacy latch can be added for bathroom or bedroom applications.

Can I install a barn door without studs in the right place?

The track header needs solid mounting. We can recommend backing plates or blocking solutions during the quote process.
