Space-saving sliding system

Bypass Closet Doors

No swing space needed.

Bypass doors slide on a double track so one panel passes in front of the other. The door never swings into the room, making them ideal for tight bedrooms, narrow hallways, and any space where a swinging door would hit furniture or a wall.

From $349— final pricing depends on dimensions, finish, and install path

How it works

  1. Send your rough opening width and height
  2. PG confirms fit against standard 80"/96" track heights

  5. Receive a written quote before anything is ordered

Recent project examples

BypassKanata
Opening72″ × 80″

Problem: Old mirrored bi-fold doors on an uneven track. Panels racked and refused to slide.

Solution: New Renin white bypass system with level track installation; both panels now slide cleanly.

BypassWestboro apartment
Opening48″ × 80″

Problem: Wanted a modern look without a solid panel blocking the feel of the space between rooms.

Solution: Renin frosted glass bypass panels provide privacy while still passing diffused light through the opening.

Common questions

Can bypass doors be installed on an existing opening?

Yes. Bypass doors are designed to fit existing openings. Send us your width and height and we will confirm fit.

Do bypass doors require a floor track?

Most bypass systems use a bottom guide, not a full floor track. The top header carries the weight. The bottom guide just keeps panels from swinging.

What finishes are available for bypass doors?

Mirror, frosted glass, solid panel, textured panel, and wood-look options are available. We carry the Renin line which includes a wide range.
